Apologies if this feature already exists, I'm new at this.
Imagine you've created an image that's close, but still not there. If you could select and refine that image with further prompts such as "give him a hint of a smile," or "blur the background more," or "add ten years to his age," that would be very cool.
It this does indeed already exist, someone please tell me how to do it!

This is something I thought of as well. It would be great to have something like chatGPT where you could add to prompts and that this is saved as a history. I have seen something about saving to your CC account.. It would be valuable to be able to save the images and prompt history that you could then come back to and change with further prompts.

Have you tried the "Use as reference image" feature in the "..." menu? You can then use the prompt bar to make some changes and choose how much of the original image you want to keep. I'm not sure it will accomplish the detail you are looking for, but it can make edits to the overall image.

I have tried the "Use as reference image" option. It is limited. You can't specify what parts you wnat referenced, what parts you want changed. What the orginal post mentioned would be a way to keep much of the orginal image but change some details. The "Use as reference image" will generate new images that may be close in style to the reference image but very different in composition.

Thank you, yes I have tried the Reference Image selection tool, but what I'd really like is to be able to continue refining a single image, where the prompts are all refinements & changes, instead of having to keep editing the original prompt.
