Firefly - Good Concept / Bad Features

Adobe Firefly is Awesome in concept.  The Adobe Corp needs to focus on UI and UE though.

The fact that this isn't a standalone app is MAL.

I would also say that Adobe needs to unlock allowing for Print res and also why not make this engine a built in feature witth Illustrator or Photoshop?

I just think Adobe is great and the suits in the hightower are stunting growth...  Just my opinion.

No Generative AI is a standalone app. At best it's a web portal to a live backend.

As for saving projects, there are several options as @droopydog500 pointed out - my preference is Save to Library so not only do I have my prompt but also the exact generation I chose. Using favorites regenerates (and uses credits) when accessed.

Generative Fill and Text to Vectors is already a feature in the public releases of Photoshop and Illustrator. Generate Image (Firefly) is available in both in the public betas.

Hello @joec57349213,

Thank you for your feedback.  Creating an effective history mechanism has been a frequent suggestion. I recommend you look at these posts and upvote the one(s) you would like to see:

History of text prompts

P: History of Previous Generated Images

Personal archive

Since most of the work is done in the cloud and not on the local device, I think that is why they chose to create a web app rather than a separately maintained iOS and Android app. There are some UI disadvantages to that, but for me I would rather have development resources focused on making the back end produce better results.

When you say "make this engine built in feature with Photoshop" do you mean create greater than 2000x2000 images in it?

My best,

    droopy

Also no history, or able to save projects.  Please let me know if I am wrong here.
