Portuguese from Portugal is diferente from Brazilian portuguese.

Firefly translation simply uses a voice recorded from a portuguese native speaker but the translated text is clearly brazilian portuguese.

Even the demo video has a man speaking brazilian portuguese with an european portuguese accent.
