I have used adobe scan to scan and send PDFs without the links for years.
I click share, then "share a copy" to avoid sharing a link, as usually this just attaches the pdf to the bottom of the email without automated text or a link.
Now it is coming up with this message in the email body, and in the email subject:
"Created and shared using Adobe Scan. Get the app: https://adobescan.app.link/getapp" daa-im="true" daa-ll="https://adobescan.app.link/getapp" - 1" daa-lh="Conversation Page | 14010729 - 14010729 | Original Post | Deep Link"
This is BEYOND ANNOYING.
How can I turn this off please?
Hi @Musa Akkan,
The file-sharing issue has been fixed with the latest version.
Please update the application and let us know if that works.

Adobe just push an update out and this stupid message and subject line is still in the share a copy portion. Adobe has obviously gotten too big to care about their customers. SO ANNOYING!! FIX IT!!!!!!!!!

So despite many promises, this issue continues.
Adobe has made a decision, it's not going away.
But we can.
Customers have a choice.

I first commented on when I was on Android version 23.09.07. they Said it would be fixed in the next update. I am now on 23.10.02 and the issue still persists. If we make it all the way to version 24, we will know with absolutely certainty this is intentional. As it stands right now, we can be pretty damn sure already.

Time to just vote with our feet -- I just switched to a new app that does not have these problems.

the fact that adobe will blatantly lie to their user base is amazing to me. FIX THIS ISSUE ITS SIMPLE REMOVE THE DAMN TEXT FROM THE TITLE AND BODY.

I just used the app and it appears the subject line and body text are no longer there. It's a Thanksgiving miracle!!!

Hi @spinachworld,
The feature has been disabled on iOS from the server side. The same will be implemented on Android with the next update.

This is still an issue - generic link is sent and file not shared.

So you still get this "created and shared…" message?
What is your version of Scan?

Hi @chrisw71239098 Please update your Adobe Scan application to latest version.
If you refer to the promo text, it has been disabled already.
If this is not what you refer to, please share a screen recording of what you see for better understanding and assistance.

My update (iOS) did not cure the problem. A hard reboot of the updated iOS app however appears to have resulted in removal of the unwanted excresence at last! Please, developers, do not muck up an otherwise great app again and make sure that your future updates remove the need for a hard reboot.

Hi @raii57511699 For iOS, it was turned off from the server side. So updating was not necessary for the fix.
As mentioned above that it should have been automatically disabled, a log out and login would have worked.
Also, thank you for the feedback. This is noted and will be shared with the devs for future releases.
Thanks,
Souvik

Still not fixed on Android. The message is different now and doesn't have the link, but its still there.
Halfway fixing it, but still not is almost worse.
So frustrating

The fix should have been implemented already.
Would you mind sharing a screenshot of what you see?
