My scanned and saved file was facing an openning error issue "Unable to open file". This operation couldn't be completed. (DCFSFileSystemErrorDomain error 5.)

I cannot send the copy of file as it couldn't open and after that my file was gone.
Please send help as it is an important file.

Hi @Hmingtea310961434n37,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your expeirence with Adobe Scan.

Do you see this error with every file? This looks like an issue with uploading the file to cloud.

Would you mind trying to upload a test scan by disabling the WiFi connection and using cellular data?

This would help us understand the issue and assist you better.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hello thanks for the suggestion.
But the error does not occur in any other files, even if I uploaded a test scan bu disabling the Wifi connection and using cellular data.

Its a bit weird how the file got erased from the and also not found even in the recycle bin.

I hope Adobe would fix this problem so that it won't happen in the future.

Thanks @Hmingtea310961434n37 for the response.

You might want to check https://adobe.ly/4asfapx in the Adobe Scan folder if the file is available there.

Also, I would share the feedback to the team for further investigation.

This issue is mostly where the upload fails for any reason (like network fluctuation or a sudden gap in the bandwidth), which causes the files to get corrupted.

Would you mind trying a test file upload and letting us know if you can view it?

Thanks,

Souvik
