I always suffer when opening shared files from my office XD. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, it's always "hit and miss". Out of 5 shared files, only 2 are always successfully opened, the others are "lucky". There is a shared file that is just blank when opened (check the picture). How to solve this problem?

@ariftedja seeing the progress bar means that it's still either downloading or connecting. How is the internet connection on your end?

Thanks. But it took 6 hours and nothing changed. While the other file opened flawlessly. I have 5 shared files, 3 of them stuck in blank pages.

@ariftedja thanks...but you didn't answer my question, How is the internet connection on your end?
Perform a internet speed test. Test your speed during peak and off-peak hours to see how your connection performs under different loads. Ookla or Fast
If you are using wifi, consider to connect your device directly to your router using an Ethernet cable. You would literally get better results with this!

I use 20Mbps internet. If the problem is with the connection, why can't the files that can be opened be small files, at least the elements in them are few. I can open files with larger sizes and with complex elements. My friend uses a Mac, with the same internet source, he can open all his files without any problems. I use Windows 11 24h2, with Lenovo Legion laptop.

@ariftedja 20Mbps internet is fast? Okay, mine clocked in over 110Mbps on Wi-Fi. My wife who is plugged in the Ethernet is over 1,000Mbps

Okay, let's say 20Mbps is not an ideal speed for Adobe XD. Then why can my friend's Mac open it flawlessly? It's tested in my house, with the same internet.

@ariftedja are you telling me on his Mac he can open your files that are stalling on your PC? Does his MAC have more processing power? Intel or Silicon (M?) chips? Compared to your PC, AMD?
Could it be the size (resolution of the images used in the file)? You can significantly reduce the file size of your XD project, making it easier to share, upload, and load faster.
Try this?
When you import a large image into XD, it maintains the original file size. Even if you resize the image within the software, the file size remains unchanged. Use Adobe Photoshop to resize the images. Use the 'Save for the Web' feature to reduce the file down for web use. And then drag that same into into another app called Tinypng.com or tinyjpeg.com to further optimize the images.

As far as I know, my friend's device uses an M1 processor, I'm not sure about the other specs. While, I'm using Lenovo Legion 5, with Ryzen 7 5800H. It's a shared file, so everyone in the team can use it, update it, etc. The things that make it more strange, I can open an XD file with a lot of elements but I can open the file with just header and some text. My manager create a new file just for testing.

@ariftedja that is so weird. By any chance di you recently download or update your computer? Are any extensions on that is conflicting with the Shared XD file? I had a shared file that I had a direct conflict with an extension. I have since removed it as it was no longer supported, once I removed that, I was good to go
