Zeplin export won't show in Adobe XD

Hi!

I have zeplin installed on my mac and I have the latest version of Adobe XD but when I try to export my screens to Zeplin the alternative won't show up in the list under File > Export.

Anyone know what the problem is and how I could solve it?

Hi All,

 

With the latest XD update (41.1), you should be able to see the Zeplin option in the export menu as well. Please try that and let us know if it works.

XD and Zeplin export traditional methods
> File > Export > Zeplin Select > End

How XD and Zeplin Export Changed
> Plug-in > Zeplin Select > Web page open (with or without program open)> End
+ problem with XD off due to error

Adobe does not make the Zeplin plugin, so you should be contacting them for support. But have you tried any of the solutions talked about here? https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-xd/adobe-xd-artboards-not-export-to-zeplin/m-p/11779977

I use adobe XD but I can't export to zepelin.

A new installation will not solve the problem.

 

The Zepelin version is 3.17 and the XD version is 37.1.

Hi there,

 

Sorry for the delay in response. Please update XD to the latest version which is 38 and check if it works or not. If it still doesn't work, please try the steps shared below:

 

  1. Please uninstall Zeplin and delete it from your downloads/applications folder and recycle bin.
  2. Once done, please restart macOS.
  3. Download Zeplin from the Zeplin website. 
  4. Launch XD and Zeplin will ask for permission, please allow that and check if you are able to export.

I still don't know. This is why the error is happening.
What the hell is wrong with XD or Zepplin?
If export a large number of artboards, an error.
Is it because Korean is included in the artboard title?

Adobe does not make the plugin, Zeplin does. So you'll need to contact Zeplin support for help. https://support.zeplin.io/

Hi. What to do now that version 35 is not available anymore and Zeplin does not work with either version 36 or version 37?

ok, my own reply of how I solved it. Go to plugins, browse for Zeplin plugin (Beta), install it and export to Zeplin from plugin menu, not the file -> export anymore. It works for me. At least atm.

Hi I have adobe XD and Zeplin latest version.

When Im in XD and I select "export to Zeplin" it takes me directly to Zeplin, but it doesn't shows me the screen or anything that I tried to export.

I've uninstalled everything a few times but still have the problem, please can you help me?

Hi there,

 

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Please try the steps shared below:

 

  1. Uninstall Zeplin and remove it from the trash as well.
  2. Downgrade Adobe XD to version 35 from the Creative Cloud Desktop app.
  3. Restart Machine.
  4. Download Zeplin and re-install.
  5. Open Adobe XD.
  6. Create a new file and export it to Zeplin.
  7. XD will ask for permissions to open Zeplin(Click on Allow/Okay)
  8. You can now upgrade Adobe XD again to version 36 and the export process should work.

I have the latest version of Adobe XD (36.0.32.10) and Zeplin (version 3.13 (1085)) installed on my iMac, and when I try to export the artboards to Zeplin nothing happened. I tried to fix it with the other solutions presented here but no success so far. Could someone help me?

Not seeing the Zeplin Pop Up (Select Projects Pop Up Modal) when trying to export screens.

@Preran I see that you have resolved many issues similar ones - could you please help me with this. Already had 2 remote calls with Adobe customer care but there were all futile. Also tried reaching out to Zeplin but not working.

I have the exact same issue and that post didn't work. Seems like it has something to do with Adobe XD not showing up in the Automation tab under Security & Privacy?  Any help would be appreciated!

I've read this discussion, did some actions but still have no possibility to export from Adobe XD to Zeplin.

The 'Export to Zeplin' button has appeared, but when I click it, a Zeplin app is opened and that's it: an image is not exported (((

 

And one more thing: there is no 'Adobe XD CC' folder, just 'Adobe XD' by path: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe. Is it the same?

 

Environments:

Adobe XD v35.3.12.2

Zeplin: v3.12 (1061)

Mac OS Big Sur v11.1 (20C69)

 

I would really appreciate your help!

Having the same issue - Zeplin opens on export but no window shows in Zeplin asking which project to import artboards into.  This is killing me, have not been able to figure it out and Zeplin support is minimal.  Please advise if possible - thanks!

Hi!

Yesterday the export to Zeplin did not work for me, I cannot find the reason that has not allowed me to export and I don't know how to fix it either.

 

I read some posts from Adobe XD in the community (ex: Zeplin export won't show in Adobe XD) but (I think) not related with my problem.

 
MacOS: 10.15.4 
Adobe XD: 28.9.12.2 (pendiente de hacer la última actualización)
Zeplin: Version 3.7.1 (968)
 
These are the actions that I did, step by step.

 

  1. I open my project in Adobe XD


  2. I select my artboards
  3. File > Export > Zeplin


  4. Zeplin opens (ERROR! The application should show: Select a Project or Styleguide in Zeplin)


  5. Artboards are not exported to Zeplin :¬(

 

I hope to get help in this community to fix this problem.

Hi there,

 

Thank you for reaching out and sorry to hear you are unable to export artboard to Zeplin. It looks like you are using the older version of XD. The current version of XD is 31.2. Would you mind updating XD to the current version and see if that solves the problem?

 

If it doesn't, please try these steps-

 

Go to Security & Privacy Automation Check Mark “Zeplin” option

Hi Harshika, thanks for following up on my post.

 

The problem reported last Thursday persists.

 

I have accessed to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Automation but it doesn't show the Check Mark "Zeplin" option. 

 

Could be the problem?

Why this option is not in Automation?
How can I activate this check?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble exporting the XD file into Zeplin. I have downloaded zeplin on my windows machine and soon as I install it. I see the option under export in XD. Would you mind checking the post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-xd/zeplin-export-won-t-show-in-adobe-xd/td-p/9675628 and try the steps suggested?
