Composition window in after effects is black

Nothing is showing up in the composition panel in after effects.  I created a new project and added my text layers in the timeliness but it not show up in the composition window. It will not preview or anything. Zoom is fine and yes thing are actually added to the timeline to view (texts). Is it that the driver is not updated?

I got it fixed myself. It was my graphics drive.
