Help with after effects overlay

Community Beginner ,
Aug 07, 2023 Aug 07, 2023

So I am an editor and recently got a watermark made for me. I watched videos on how to add a watermark and they say to make it an overlay. But when my screen goes to black on the edit the watermark appears white. I just want the watermark to not be visible when my edit fades out. I have tried all the options for the blending modes and all of them make it appear white when the screen is black.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

Oh okay thanks you. Do you know anything about this though? Because I have tried everything.
