BACKGROUND AUTO-SAVE, Auto-save should not interrupt your workflow

The autosave has also a weird timing. Sometimes doesnt kick in at all and sometimes it does it like 3 times in a row with a couple of mins in between, sometimes its like a single minute and it kicks in and then kicks in again. Its EXTREMELY annoying it freezes the program until is completely saved and sometimes it takes a while doing so on big projects. Itd be a whole different experience if only a background auto-save would be possible.. If only we could have that level of programming. If only the human would evolved enought to have background auto-save.. But I guess that’s not possible with the current tech. I guess we only have to wait 10 or 20 years until we are capable or to wait for AI to do it itself since AI seems too important for ADOBE. We are advanced enough to have AI in Premiere but we may have to keep waiting to have background auto-save..

PLEASE ADOBE take a look a this. ITs quite dumb the way autosave kicks in in the middle of an action EVERY TIME , it should do it in the background or at least kick in while you’re not actively in the middle of a task or an action. Id be way better if: when finished dragging a clip, autosave kicks in.. When pressing stop playback, autosave kicks in (instead of having pressed play and the autosave interrupts the playback causing big projects to crash or get stuck playing and saving at the same time which makes the save process longer cause the program has a collision of tasks. PLEASE ADOBE THIS IS BAD, it drags me, kills the flow state EVERY TIME . Not to mention if youre up against a tight deadline and premiere deciding right then when youre reorganizing your timeline and moving hundreds of clips that that’s the best moment to auto save.. 

DEACTIVATING AUTO SAVE DOESNT SOLVE THE ISSUE IT JUST CREATES OTHER ISSUES.

Agreed. Not sure why they even bothered adding 3D in. Seems like a waste of resources. 

A little experiment for the After Effects Team, just in case they are actually reading any of this and might deign to respond. Go to the After Effects Community forum, click on the little button that says "Ideas" and then sort the list by top votes. You'll see this requests close to the top with 516 votes with zero affirmation from the team while importing 3D objects had about 100 votes and is now inexplicably complete? Soooo, how about you actually address the direct top-voted needs of your users????

Still nothing in 2024, not even an acknowledgment from the team after this was top voted for years on the previous board, and now sits silently on here. Premiere managed to fix this, why can't you?
