This month's community highlight is Mathias's post titled "Falling in Love with the Speed Graph of Ae" which gives us a sneak peek into one of his upcoming sessions at the Adobe Video World - Keyframes Demystified. After attending this session you will know all the different types of keyframes, but more importantly, you will also understand how to use those effectively. You spend so much time keyframing every day - it’s about time to invest one hour of your life to build a solid basis for your keyframing workflow!
Top three troubleshooting topics from August:
1. After Effects preview doesn't work:
If you are running into an issue where preview doesn't work, follow these steps:
Go to Preferences > Display and toggle "Hardware Accelerate Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels"
Go to Preferences > Video Preview and toggle "Enable Mercury Transmit"
Update the on-board and dedicated graphics drivers of the computer
2. Display Acceleration Disabled in After Effects:
Or After Effects could just finally give us decent keyframing that acts and feels like every 3D app on earth with visually appropriate curves that just work. Also, how about your team chime in on the user suggestion page more than once a year?
