Title pretty much says it all, but here are some specific steps to reproduce:
- Open Adobe Audition
- Create a new, 32-bit audio file.
- Generate a tone so there is some waveform data.
- Select the Paintbrush Selection tool and adjust the Size parameter by click-dragging the number or directly typing into the field. This immediately crashes Adobe Audition on my machine.
I can sometimes adjust the Size parameter if I am editing an empty 16-bit file with nothing else open in Audition. I have not tried other bitrates or scenarios.
Here's some basic system information. In case it matters, I'm using a third-generation Focusrite 2i2 as my audio input and output device, driver version 4.119.13.33 from 11/27/2023. I hope this helps!
