Adobe Audition crashes when I attempt to use any UAD plug in

When I attempt to use any UAD plug in, the software immediately crashes. This has never happened before and started with the latest update.

Hi Simone,

Sorry for the issue. Could you share your current Audition build version (open Audition, go to the menu bar at the top, select Help > About Audition)? I also recommend checking the Universal Audio website for plugin updates.

Thanks,

Ishan

Thanks Ishan! Here’s that info 25.3.0.71 Build. I have everything set up the same on my laptop and there things are working. All UAD software is updated and my MacOS software is also up to date. For some reason only on my iMac is Adobe Audition crashing with the UAD plug ins. I wonder if it might be linked to something else? Still trying everything I can think of.

Thanks for sharing the details. Next time Audition crashes, could you click the "View Report" button and share the report file here? Please also try the 24.6.7 version of Audition (Here's how) and let me know if your UAD plugins work with it. This will not uninstall your current version of Audition.

The report appears as a .dmp file, which I can seem to attach here. However, you can download the report at the link below. I downloaded the older version to no avail. I believe it has something to do with this system I am using. It may even be something related to how files are stored since everything is working fine on my laptop with the same set up.

Thanks for sharing the file. I'll share it with the engineering team to check if we can find out what's causing the crash. Is your laptop running a macOS or Windows operating system? Please also share your Mac's system specifications (OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM).

LATEST

I'm running an iMac Pro 2017 with the latest update of Sequoia. But since everything is running perfectly on my laptop, I suspect the issue is with my system here.
