audio glitch – Audition or re recording

Hello,

I am trying to track down an audio glitch. It can be heard here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1y689WAnWl8OEmBd2coi3YGZbYPbOaRKI

I am trying to figure out if it is a glitch in the recording, or something that can be fixed in Audition. My gut is saying this is an audio glitch in the recording that isn't fixable–can anyone with more experience than me chime in?

Thanks in advance!

(if its relevant:)

This clip actually only had the one little glitch in it. Thanks for trying! I am planning on taking a different route to fix this problem. Thanks!

Unfortunately we cannot listen to your example audio because your Google Drive won't give permission. So you probably need to change the Google settings so that anyone with the link can open it. You shouldn't have to make it Public.

More importantly than your Mac info is what version of Audition are you running and what is your audio source and how is it getting into the Mac?

I re-uploaded as an mp3, this should work (let me know if it doesn't): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ExskzZ1sgaO90_cD3PQsFxq73jj7UhHN

This was given to me as an mp4 video, audio recorded separately from the video. It was sync'd and exported as an mp4 and then sent to me. They also sent the mp3 audio file. Not sure exactly how it was recorded, although I can see a lapel mic in the video. All sent to me via Google Drive.

I think it would be much better if you could export the audio from the original mp4 as .wav and upload that.  Unfortunately, mp3 is far from an ideal format for checking on quality of and problems in an audio file.
