Changing metronome time signature

Is there a way to create an alternative time signature in audition?  I am trying to create a 6/4 time signature but there is only 5/4 and 7/4.  The only time signature available is 6/8.

I think its possible but obviously not using the usual method and not something I have tried or recommend

I'll probably get shot for suggesting it but here goes (all care but no responsibility)

1. Make a backup copy (or two) of your sesx

2. Open the sesx in a text editor like Notepad

3. Locate the line that starts with this <metronome enabled

4. Change the pattern to this

pattern="downBeat subdivision subdivision subdivision subdivision subdivision" soundSet="sticks">

5. Locate the line that starts with this  <timeFormatState

6. Change the 'beatsPerBar' to beatsPerBar="6"

7. Save your sesx

Make sure you have made a backup of your sesx in case it all turns to custard 😉
