Configure File>Export settings?

Hello! I'm about to process a large number of files and I had a question about modifying the default options in File>Export to streamline the process.

First, if I've opened another file and am using that to export the new one, the autogenerated filename for the new file is the original file's name with _01 appended. Is there a way to prevent the _01 from being automatically added?

Secondly, the default export folder seems to be my Documents folder - how do I change this so that the default folder is always the original folder for the source file?
