Exported single tracks only playing through left side? Help!

Hi there, I produce voiceovers and I often have to record multi tracks (in multitrack) and then export them as seperate files.

However, when I export each single track, the resulting file only plays back through the left channel (speakers and headphones).

Infuriating! I know I'm being an idiot ha ha I've tried everything.

Anyone have any ideas?

Are these mono files, or two identical mono tracks in a stereo file?

Hi there generally they are mono recorded vocal tracks. here's a screenshot of this particular session.

Track one plays fine through both sides in multitrack and waveform.

If I open it in waveform and 'save selected' it comes out fine.

If I try and export the track from multitrack view the resulting file just plays left.

basically I solo the track and 'export mixdown' so should work?
