How is it possible to select an area in the Multi-track View?

I know only how to deselect (with G(, but selecting is only possible in the Waveform view.

Thanks for help

Okay, it is intended for this purpose, but it's very handy to define (like in aftereffects) a working area where the playhrad is always looping.

If there is a selection active, you can freely adjust it in the multitrack time editor.

I will vheck out tomorrow:)

That is exactly what happens if you make the selection on the track area - it includes the timeline and can be used to set up playback looping. And once you've defined the region, you can adjust it by  dragging the ends of it on the timeline itself.

This is all very basic stuff...

Try using the Time Selection Tool:

I have already tried the Time Selection Tool, but it doesn't select anything when I'm in Multitrack view.

I've also in the manual found nothing.

How to use it? THanks

You select the tool, and you hold the left mouse button down, and swipe the area with your mouse and then let go. If that doesn't work, you need to get your computer fixed.
