Question

How to configure Audition to automatically name files? (First time user)

I'll be using Adobe Audition CS6. I need to create hundreds of tiny audio clips i.e. word pronunciations. I'd like Audition to name them something like d13,041.mp3, d13,042.mp3, d13,043.mp3. etc. Any suggestions on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

The only way that Audition can add individual numbers to files you can export is to have a master file and create file ranges within it, and batch-export these. You can add a prefix, and each successive range will have the final digit incremented - but that's it; there's nothing else you can do.

Thanks for your response, but I'm completely new. How does one creat a master file with file ranges? The tiny audio clips, each a pronunciation of a single different word,  will be close in size but not identical. I'd like to set up a system where the speaker could run down a list of words saying each and creating a separate incrementally named file.  Thanks.
