I need help! I'm using Audition to mix audio files, that I have synch with pluraleyes.
When I import my xml file Audition keeps doing : "converting sample types", and therefore makes copies of my files. I just want to use the one I have already. I don't understand why it want to convert all the time (in 48000)
I have changed in settings/Audio material/ and selected 44100 it doesn't do anything
I don't get it and really want Audition to stop converting and duplicating my files...

what should I do?

Any session in Audition can only run at a single sample rate. So if you have files at a different sample rate that you want to use in it, they have to be converted - there's no way around that, I'm afraid.

but all files have the same rate, so it should not be doing it..

both files were at 44100

Yes, but what was the session rate? And what is the format of the files? If they aren't wav files, they will still need to be converted, because wav is Audition's native format, and the one it works in.
