I'm not seeing any files that say "crash" and I'm not getting any sort of countdown, just a hard crash and then the crash report box. Here are the log files that are highlighted in the Logs folder when I do "Reveal Log Files" - maybe something useful in there?
No, it's not obvious what's happening. And it's a Mac (which we know rather less about). There is a thread (which used to be a FAQ until they were deemed unneccessary) called 'Audition Crashed - now what?' and at the end of it is what you need to do at this point. You don't need the thread, just the information, and that is to send all the logs to audbugs@adobe.com including an email address where you can be reached, and tell them also exactly what the problem is. This should get directly to the developers, who are the Mac experts. If they don't reply fairly rapidly, then email again - and if none of that works, report back here.
