No audio from Blue Yeti USB mic in Audition

Using Audition CC, I can configure the Audio Hardware settings for my Blue Yeti USB mic, but no audio is recorded.

This setup worked fine in previous versions of Audition. The current setup also works in Audacity and other software that requires audio input.

Help?!?

Actually, I was in Waveform. After I saw this message, I went back and tried Multitrack, just to be sure. Confirmed that the mic was selected and the channel armed. Same result (recording only silence).

Since you are on Mojave then take a look at the FAQ Have you updated your Mac to Mojave 10.14.1? Do you have no audio in now? Although you may see the mic in some apps it could still be inhibited for Audition.

Are you on a Mac or a PC and which operating system are you using? Recently both Apple and Microsoft have beefed up their privacy settings disabling some audio inputs from working.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm on a MacBook Pro running OS X Mojave (10.14.3).

I can see the Yeti mic and adjust settings in Audio/MIDI setup as well as other software (like Audacity). I can see/adjust the settings in Audition, too - but I get no audio (zero level/silence) when recording.

If you are recording in Multitrack, then make sure that it's set up as the input source for the track. Even if everything else is correct, you'll get no sound if you don't do that!
