No sound when playing back multitrack in windows

Hello all,

I am using windows, am using the rodecaster pro and have 3 tracks for a podcast.  I can record perfectly but when I go to listen to what I have recorded there is no playback.  I have downloaded ASIO4ALL which allowed me to record properly but I am failing to see why I can't hear the audio I just recorded the the rodecaster pro.  thanks for any input

I had the same problem! Turns out that, for some reason, the individual tracks' outpust defaulted to "None" instead of "Master." You can find the pull down for this at the beginning of each track, beneath the name, volume, and input. (You'll need to increase the height of the track to be able to see this.)

I forgot to mention, also be sure that you have Input/Output (left and right arrow icon) selected in the toolbar just above the track names.

Check your output is mapped correctly ie to your output left & right speaker channels

Edit > Preferences > Audio Channel Mapping

And make sure that each of your track outputs are set to the master track (and not muted)

I have tried to this however with ASIO4ALL which is the only way for me to have the multitrack the master track is not an option. All I have is Not Connected 1 & 2 as well as none. I have followed the instructions provided by Rode in order to get the multitrack to record in adobe audition on windows since a windows update blocked it.

Did you ever find the answer you were looking for? I have the same problem. I am using Windows and ASIO4ALL and the multitrack recording is working great, but I cannot hear anything in playback. I can still hear computer audio from the monitors but nothing from Audition.

When I look at Audio Channel Mapping preferences, I show "Not Connected 1" and "Not Connected 2" as well.
