This sounds like the basic answer would be... "turn off the keyframes or delete the envelope for volume" in order to bring the volume back for the rest of the track but here's the thing... ((i'll be super brief))
I was messing around with some settings within a plugin (iZotope Nectar 2) on my MacBook Pro (iOS Sierra), adjusting the keyframe points for various aspects of the effect in various areas of the vocal track.
Then i noticed that only one part of the vocal track would play (a part i had applied a particular vocal effect to previously).
So, I deleted every envelope and every key point in the track, bringing all the volume levels up again and restoring it to a normal audio track.
So when I play the track without any effects, it's back to the complete audio file, playing from start to finish.
But any time i add any effect to the track on any effect insert, it will only play audio for that part i had edited before. The rest will be silent.
Is this just a glitch ?
If there's no logical reason why, it could be that the plugin has messed with Adobe Audition as iZotope haven't yet updated their plugins for Sierra.
It could be worth downgrading in that case.
Thank you for any help you can give !
