Windows 10 Computer hangs when saving then closing out of Audition cc when exiting

Question

my windows 10 Computer hangs when saving then closing out of Audition cc when exiting. Always not occasional.

All other programs in the computer (including other adobe programs) work fine with no hanking. issue is with Audition cc only. tried uninstalling/ reinstalling versions of audition going back to 13.0.

Windows 10 V1909 build 18363.815 64 bit

i 7 8700K

32 gb ram

please advise

Even though it's not actually an Audition crash as such, it will almost certainly be worth extracting the most recent log files and sending them to audbugs@adobe.com - and also possibly posting them here, in case it's pretty obvious.
