Disable auto scroll permanently

Please allow auto-scroll in the multi track editor to be disabled permanently, so it doesn't turn itself back on every time I play/pause the session.

    It doesn't stay off in regular editing mode either. So irritating. Wastes so much time. Off and then automatically back on. Off and then automatically back. So stupid.

    Please please allow us to permanently turn this feature off. So frustrating to have it on by default. You turn it off with The A key and it turns itself back on after you stop the playhead? This is baffling. Really disruptive to workflow. Cutting in the wrong position on the timeline, dragging clips and it gets dropped miles down the timeline or this glitchy action as it continually readjusts the start position.

    I'm wanting the opposite effect...but in the Waveform mode. I'm playing the audio...the playhead is fixed in the middle as the "tape" plays by...then I hit stop to make an edit......only to have the auto-play disengaged! 😞

    EDIT: Never mind! Ticking the "Enable auto-scroll when..." box does this for me.
