Question

Apply default transitions... to clips in Audition?

Hi,

in Pro Tools, it is possible to select multiple clips and apply a default  predetermined fade (in/out) to all of them.

I would say that it's kinda the same idea as the "Apply default transition" in Premiere Pro.

Although absolutely necessary, I cannot find such a feature in Audition... any idea, anyone?

It's not a predetermined default as such, but if you have a load of clips highlighted, any fade you apply to one will be duplicated across all of them. If they all end at different points, then you have to drag the fade back quite a way if you want to cause it to happen to all of them; in other words, the fade starts are aligned. Personally I find that to be a lot more use than something that's fixed as a default.

Yes but it would be very helpful to be able to apply a standardized preset fade to a bunch of clips, and through many sessions, as a first step in the workflow of audio editing, without having to (manually) select some clips and then manually adjust a fade curvatureselect
