I open my .sesx and it is empty!

Pretty new to audition. I was working on a podcast. Multitrack. I "Save As" the file, then closed.

Now I come back to audition. I open the .sesx file "Post--EP3.sesx" and there is nothing there, as per screen shot.

It's not in the multitrack format, none of the .wav files.... nothing. Just like a new file. What??? I do not get it....... how do you save and open projects in Audition?

The same happens to me...I'm too looking out for solution for this problem.
But I was able to bring back the same session when I opened from recent after opening Audition.

A solution for this is appreciated.

A couple of things

Are you on a Mac or PC?

Where did you "save as' to (which folder)?

Did you ever do a 'save' prior to the 'save as'?

There should be progressive backups in your 'backup' sub folder - did you have a look?

Mine is PC. But after reading your comment I tried to do 'Save As' to my local folder and I couldn't find any issue when I reopen that .sesx file.

But the issue comes when I try to open a file from my One Drive, whereas the dependent files are on the same directory as created automatically by Audition.

Any thoughts?

The answer then is to not try and open from One Drive
