Hi Vince. I discovered the problem was Macs security settings. It would not allow the upgrade to run saying it was corrupted. Solution: Settings > Privacy & Security > Security - "Allow applications from" . This was blocking the upgrade from running insisting it was corrupted. I allowed the application (Bridge) and its run perfrctly since.
Regards Paul

Hi Vince
Sorry thats the message I got as well - the malware one - thought it said corrupted. I clicked on "open anyway" and it works perfectly. Also my spyware/anti virus isnt picking up any problems.

Hi Paul.
I have tried rolling back to previous versions of Bridge, V 15.0.0, v 15.0.1, all 2025.
The one that I am working off at the moment is v 14.1.5 2024. This and earlier versions of Bridge 2024 work fine.
I have also tried rolling back to earlier versions of Photoshop but without any success, so it looks like I'll just have to live with Bridge 2024 v 14.1.5 for the time being.
Funny thing is Bridge v15.0.2 works fine on my windows desktop, with Photoshop v 26.2

Why on earth doesn't Adobe fix this stupid bug? It's happened to me twice now. Super annoying. Counter intuitive. Certainly worth the $60/month I pay for the full set of apps.

Have you tried refreshing your preferences:
Just before clicking on Bridge in the Dock or double-clicking the application for the Mac, press Command-Option-Shift. For PCs, press Control-Alt-Shift. Then open Bridge BUT KEEP your fingers on those keys until you see a window pop up. From the window, the options are: “Reset Preferences" and "Purge All Local Cache Files.” In your case, check both of them.

Thanks Gary, if it happens again, I'll try that.

With this really being an Apple security issue, doing this will not open the reset settings. You need to fix by overriding in the Apple security area. I had to do that today. It's still a problem that w
as never fixed.
