Bridge and Lightroom

Bridge and Lightroom don't really work well together. We don't recommend rating or editing photos while on a memory card- copy them to a hard drive, do your culling in Bridge, then import to LR.

or is there a better way of selecting in bridge and importing in lightroom? selecting in lightroom needs import of all pictures and taking lot of time.
