See screen shots. Bridge 13.0.3.693 has been averaging over 20% of the CPU for several days. But while it's slowing down my use of Photoshop, it has ZERO disk activity. What could Bridge be doing for hours on end that does not require reading from or writing to disc?

Liebe Adobe Programierer was soll das?

From what I have read, this problem is a known issue to Adobe, I have the same problem but I have much higher cpu usage percentages....probably because of me having an older i5 processor.
Try using the beta version of Bridge. It works perfectly for me and will idle at either 0% or almost 0%.

Interesting. It worked well in one folder, but in another, it still took Bridge minutes at high CPU to become responsive. Good to have as an option. Thanks!

Hi @scottbu ,
We have made improvements in this area i.e. CPU uses on idle.
Please try our latest beta release i.e. 13.0.4 (beta) and let us know if you still face any issue.
Regards,
Bridge Team

Bridge Team: Please take this issue seriously. It's causing my CPU to constantly use ~30% doing nothing. That in turn causes my CPU fans to constantly be noisy. And it makes the sliders in PS laggy and jumpy.
