Bridge Startup Scripts

When in Adobe Bridge 2024 preferences, under Startup Scripts, all the major softwares show as, for example, "Adobe InDesign 2024" and "Adobe Photoshop 2024".
I see this on both Windows and macOS.
But the Illustrator startup script says:
"Adobe Illustrator. This script allows other applications to communicate with Adobe Illustrator CC"
What does yours show? Is this incorrect? How to fix it?

You very likely ran into a product versions mismatch (your Illustrator is older than Bridge). Unfortunately, Adobe Bridge strictly maps Bridge to specific versions of Photoshop, Illustrator etc. although there's no technical reason for this. This means that you if you prefer to keep using Bridge 12 that you cannot connect to most recent Photoshop or Illustrator (at least not without writing scripts yourself). You also cannot use Bridge 14 together with older versions of content creation apps.
It's painful that Adobe even fails to communicate what conditions they expect for their apps to work together.
"Adobe Illustrator. This script allows other applications to communicate with Adobe Illustrator CC" – this empty statement does not help anyone find out what went wrong. It's a pain that you need to open a forum thread for such.
@Mike Witherell My latest Bridge version works with Illustrator 27.6 – I'd try using this version with Bridge 14.01

Further detail:
I update all the apps each October with the release of new versions at the same time.
I see this on macOS and windows.

Here's what i see in Bridge 2024 running on macOS Sonoma 14.1.1

Thanks for confirming what I see. Not necessarily broken; not necessarily correct.
