Hi
My workflow depends on being able to use "batch rename" in bridge. I note it was updated this morning to 12.0.1
My presets for filenames in batch rename can't be editted because the drop down menus no longer work.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem ? It was fine until the update this morning.
Steve
Hello all,
The dropdown issue is fixed in the latest Bridge release (version 12.0.2) that is available today.
Do update to the latest available version.

Same thing happened to me. I had to go back to the older version to make it work. I can't work without this feature.

Clearly a bug in Bridge. I went back to the older version and the bug went away. Boo on you Adobe!!! At least the older version works.

I went back to 12.0.0.234 as well.
I found a work-around for the drop down issue in 12.0.1.246.
Step 1. Click on the dropdown.
Step 2. Use arrow keys to navigate within the dropdown selections
Step 3. After the desired item shows up, (and this is important), hit the enter key.

It is unfortunate that we windows-10 subscribers to ACC have had to find work arounds to deal with this software update to Adobe Bridge.
I especially did not like having to rollback to a previous relase so I could get my workflow back on track and get my images to clients (I am a real estate photographer in Australia, working free-lance with 24 turn-around expected), on the the flipside I have discovered a great community of people who have suggestions to overcome issues and give great support!
I also note that since I have rolled back I will need to manually moniter ACC to check on available updates to Bridge.
Again, thanks to all who have replied.

I have just reported a similar problem in Export in Bridge. It is on my main pc but not on my laptop. I tried uninstalling Bridge and reinstalling it but to no avail. From the comments here. Windows 10 all programs fully up to date.

ver 12.0.1. also broke everything for me.
None of the drop downs menus worked.
Such a shame to release such a seriously buggy update!
The irony ... in updated descriptions it said "bug fixes"
Anyway i rolled back to 12.0.0 and it works fine, as always did.

Right? And instead of fixing it, they just tell you to delete all of your settings and preferences and try again. How does that help our workflow if we constantly have to delete our settings a preferences and start all over again? How about they just fix it? Adobe products are becoming more and more a joke to use. I spend more time searching on forums on how to fix things than I do actually using the products.

Hi folks
I have finally re-installed Bridge 12.01.246 on my windows 10 PC.
Using the mouse to access drop downs in batch rename doesn't work.
Some-one suggested using the arrow keys. That works for me, I can put up with it.
I pay what I earn in a whole shoot to Adobe annually, which sucks.
Come on Adobe, small mistakes in releases can be be forgiven, this one has had an impact on workflows around the globe.
