External hard drive appears in the menu, but Bridge does not show me the contents.

Not at all sure what you mean by "appears in the menu".

Look in the Folders Panel. You should see your PC name with a dropdown listing all your drives.

I don't experience any problem accessing my external backup drive from the Folders Panel on my Windows 11 system.

If and when you locate it, add it to your favourites for quick access in the future.

My Seagate External Drive appears in the Folders Panel, although it's icon is gray, but does not show contents, folders etc.

Other people have posted the same issue in this community but the only solutions given are for Mac.

I can access my files in Windows Explorer & PS, just not Bridge.

Are you perchance using Bitlocker? ie is the drive encrypted?
