Restore Multiple Windows Option!

Adobe PLEASE restore multiple windows option. Professional Photographers & Retouchers have established workflows that rely on features that have been used for years.

If Adobe feels they have a better option, then at least offer Multiple Windows (Comm-N) as an OPTION.

Auto makers don't switch the position of the brake pedal with the gas pedal. Some workflow features are that basic.

I was a beta tester for Photoshop 1.0. I'm all for new features, but this deletion was not a step forward.

I know it's no comfort, but the multiple windows have been replaced by content tabs

(see my screenshot)

 with 3 tabs open:

opening a new content tab keyboard shortcut is CTRL+SHIFT+T (windows)

I was annoyed at first, but now I get on with them quite easily, so maybe that can be an option?

I agree! The tabs are great, but not at the expense of windows. I rely (relied, I suppose) heavily on multiple windows, and suddenly they're gone. Tabs are floating, so I can't put a detached tab behind the main window like I used to do with multiple windows. I have yet to find a keyboard shortcut to move among tabs (like cmd~ to change windows). When a detached tab is blocking something I need on the main window I need to either move the tab, reattach the tab, or minimize the tab to see what I need from the main window and then put that tab back where I want it. It was so much simpler to just click on the window I need at that moment and then cmd~ to get back to the other window.
