P: Bridge Label Colours - Keyboard Shortcut Options

Bridge Preferences only allow 6, 7, 8, 9 keyboard shortcuts.

Purple has no shortcut, I have to right click on the image > Labels > select purple.
This is time consuming, CAN I ALLOCATE A SHORTCUT TO PURPLE?

The latest Beta build 14.0.0.57 has support for ‘Customizing keyboard shortcuts’ along with a few other features.

That is great, but the problem is that the Purple Label option is only available at the Application level and it does not exist for the panel or review level. So it can only be set at the application level and it works for the main panel. But does not work at the review window and there is no way to set a shorcut for it.

I found the same thing. I had to do a cludge between the Application commands and the Review panel commands...

So I have, under the Review Panel, F5 = Red label, F6 = Yellow label, F7 = Green Label, and F8 - Blue label. and under the Applaction F5 remains as Refresh but F9 = Purple label and F10 = No label.

I have to say, this whole Keyboard Shortcuts dialog in Bridge is very buggy. Stange things keep happening and I end up cancelling out and starting over. It took me several tries to get this much done. It is really not worth trying to change the keyboard assigbments. Huge waste of time.

I take it back. Even this cludge doesn't work. Using this setup the F5 thru F10 keys don't do what I want at all.

This is what I ended up doing...

Everything at the application level. I couldn't get any new asssignments at the Review Panel level working the way I expected. I abandoned the F5 Refresh ... not sure when I might need a Refresh in Bridge.

Grrrr. Still not what I want. I do my basic culling in the Preview panel and sometimes I like to press the space bar an continue my culling full screen. But now I can only use the F5 thru F10 keys in the Preview window. If I switch to the full screen (space bar) then I can only use the '6' thru '0' keys which do not include the purple label. Very frustrating.

I might have to find another app for basic culling.

There is also no command "No Rating" under the "SlideShow/ FullScreen Window". Can't assign that command to any key.

And it seems that when a specific key has an assignment under a specific panel, e.g. the "SlideShow/ FullScreen Window", and the same key has an assignment (maybe different command) for the "Application" panel then the one under the subpanel ("SlideShow/ FullScreen Window") overrides the comand at the "Application" panel, i.e. the "Appalication" panel assignment doesn't work.
