Question

How to zoom like in Photoshop

I am super used to zooming in PS by holding cmd-spacebar and clicking to zoom in and hold alt-cmd-spacebar and clicking to zoom out. Just upgraded my computer and am using a current version of ACR for the first time in a few years and the zoom behaviour is driving me nuts.

Is it possible to get the zoom to behave the same way as in PS?

Not exactly sure what you want but try holding down the Control key and click and drag to zoom; is that what you want?

Really I just want to click to zoom in and out, as I do in Photoshop and as I used to be able to do in ACR as well. In PS I use the shortcut cmd-space for the zoom tool (the loup with the plus) and then every time I click it zooms in further. When I use the shortcut cmd-alt/option-space I click to zoom out. Been doing it like that for ages.

The URL provided explains how you zoom in and out; if that isn't to your liking:
