Question

Are There Character Limits to the VariableEditBoxStr?

I've created an assessment with some input fields for open-ended questions.  These questions prompt the student to answer in paragraph form, 5-7 sentences.  However, now that the assessment is SCORMed and running in my LMS (Moodle in this instance), I've realized that the resulting interactions report doesn't include the entire paragraph from the student input.  There is a cut-off.  Is this a setting (or something in the variables) specific to the Adobe Captivate project?  Or, is this something within my LMS that I will need to adjust?

In the Adobe Captivate project, I have selected the reporting option for these input fields (to both be included in the quiz and reported to the LMS).  And I am working in version 12.6.0.

Thanks for any advice or insight someone may be able to provide!

Thanks to this wonderful community, I believe I've figured things out regarding the cut-off issue.  These assessments are packaged SCORM 1.2, which I've learned this morning, limits characters to 255.  This will not work for the writing prompt of my assessments, which require the answer to be a 5-7 sentence paragraph.

I've started testing these assessments, zipped as SCORM 2004 (both 3rd and 4th edition) in my LMS.  The Moodle version we currently use is 4.3.  Unfortunately, the interactions report is generating nothing--none of the question labels nor the user input/answers.  While I am exploring this further with my Moodle IT Support, I'm curious if there is something within the Captivate project settings that I need to revise.  See below screenshot--the reporting preferences for SCORM 2004.  I really have no clue what, if anything, I should be including here.
