Branching in submit all response option

I am using Captivate 9 and I need to use the Submit all option, because I want the users can review their answers before submitting them. In addtion, I need to branch several questions depending on the answer, but branching is not working when using Submit all option.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

Correct answer Lilybiri

Knowledge Check slides will solve the problem of being able to  navigate freely, but not to review the given answers. A KC slide is cleared immediately after leaving the slide, it will not keep the answers. More differences between KC and normal quiz slides:

Do you want a score, branching and being able to review questions before finalizing the quiz? Only possibility for such requirements is to create custom question slides with standard objects (and interactions), variables and advanced/shared actions. To me that is the only way to give you so much control, but it has its 'cost' in development time.

The features Branch aware and Submit All are not compatible AFAIK.

With Submit All the quiz slides are not evaluated until the Submit All button is clicked and confirmed.

On the one hand you want something that only Submit All gives you (ability to review and change answers to any question BEFORE submitting for evaluation) and on the other hand you want something that Submit All would specifically prevent (evaluation of quiz question answers BEFORE submitting all questions).

So I think you are in a bit of a Catch-22 situation.  You may need to work out which of these two requirements is NOT essential.

Thank you for your comment RodWard. So, besides the option of having another attempt, users can not change their answers beffore submitting all?

What I am trying to do is not a real evaluation, it is just a general guidelines for filling out a form. Branching is mandatory, because questions will appear depending on the last response. At the same time,  users should be able to check all answers before submitting the whole form.

Thanks.

Scoring is not required, I do need branching and review the questions before finalizing the quiz. I will check creating custom questions, because you are right, this is the only way to do what I want.

Thanks for your help.

I have a lot of use cases on my blog about creating custom questions. Just FYI.
