Can't restore the menu bar

I don't know why the menu bar suddenly disappear, and I can no longer find how to restore it. Anybody could tell me?

    Are you talking about the Big Button Bar or the menu bar? Your screenshot shows a cpvc project, which doesn't have all the options you have in a cptx project. Did you lose functionality in the cptx project as well?

    I cannot see if you are working in the Newbie or the Expert UI.

    If you do have the same problem in cptx-projects, and resetting the workspace doesn't solve it, you'll have to clear the Preferences. You need administrator rights, look for the subfolder 'Utils' under the installation folder of Captivate. Run the file that is appropriate for your OS, there is a Win and a Mac file.

      When using that flile, you could lose some customisation. Most of it can be saved, following the instructions in this blog post (still valid for later versions):
