Captivate 8 PowerPoint Animation and HTML5

Explorer ,
Sep 15, 2017 Sep 15, 2017

I imported a PowerPoint slide containing animations. I know doing this creates a SWF object as a background to the slide, but the animation plays just fine when published in HTML5. However, the issue occurs when that slide is re-visited. For whatever reason, the first visit to the slide the animation plays as intended, but on any revisits to the slide, the animation stops 3 seconds in and does not complete the animation cycle. Do you have any insight on how to correct this?

Look at the timeline: do you see any pausing point?

I double-checked if there is a pausing point in my timeline, but there isn't. The strange thing is when played in a Flash Player, the SWF animation plays fine upon revisiting the slide. It's only when played in HTML5 that the SWF animation does not play all the way through upon revisiting the slide.

I never use PPT for a Captivate project, and have no idea how those animations are 'translated' for HTML5 output. I really hope someone else could give you more help.
