Captivate feature not working with Internet Explorer 11

Question

More of a caution statement than anything.

I was having issues with Bookmarking/Resume Data not working in Internet explorer 11. In other words, even though I had the settings correct, If a user watched a video on our LMS and returned at a later time to finish it, it would start over.

After posting questions and manipulating settings, I realized that this feature in Captivate worked just fine if I was using the Chrome browser and not Internet Explorer (11).

If anyone is having this issue, see if the issue occurs when using Chrome.

I am working in Captivate version 9.

For some reason, whenever I leave "Never Send Resume Data" unchecked, the video never seems to re-launch where user left off in my LMS???

I also do have "Send Data on Every Slide" Checked?

*Update*: When the video is re-launched, the slide number goes to the correct spot from where it was left off, but the video starts from the beginning??

Can't figure out what i'm doing wrong?

We are experiencing similar issues - SCORMs launched in IE, are resuming to Slide 1 - regardless of where the user left off. The TOC is correctly bookmarked and highlighted to the appropriate slide.

As the OP noted, issue not occurring in Chrome. - however a large majority of our clients use IE, and we have to support it, so asking them to use Chrome is not a viable solution.
