Captivate files on SharePoint 2010

Hi all,

I'm trying to get a Captivate 9 responsive project to work in SharePoint 2010. I followed the instructions here (Q and A: Can I upload Adobe Captivate output to Microsoft SharePoint? | Train-A-Scope - Steven Knight Training - Linking…) but when I click on the link, I just get the waiting symbol.

It doesn't even go to the 'Adobe Captivate' popup that appears in other projects. I viewed the page source, and it's definitely loading the file, just not letting the project start.

I've set the project to auto start, but could it be that SharePoint isn't acting on that?

Any tips would be hugely appreciated.

Lorraine.

    Hi Lorraine,

Testing out this process works in my environment.

What operating system are you on?

Are you launching the Captivate content from your device or desktop/laptop computer?

    What browser are you using?

Usually, I will get this clocking if the my security settings aren't set to allow active content on my device (Android) or PC.

Firefox does not like the HTML5 content on my device, but Google Chrome works just fine using these steps.

    Hi Greg,

Thanks for your reply. I think you're probably right, that the security settings aren't allowing the content to run.

I'm not going to mark it as correct just yet, as I need to take your suggestion to the IT staff, but I'd say you're right.

    Lorraine.
