Question

Captivate project as a URL

I am creating a module for a grad school class and was told that I will need to submit my project as a document that has a URL that will go directly to the module. Can someone please walk me through how to do this? Will I need to host it on an external site? If so, which are my best options, and how do I do this?

Thanks!

You could also sign up for a hosting service, something like 000webhost.....I use captivate HTML packages on my personal server all the time.  They just needed to be uploaded to the server and then anyone can access with standard URL.

Yes you will need to host the published content on a website or Learning Management System (LMS for short).  Before you go any further, do you have access to either of these platforms?  If not, there's no point worrying about how you publish and upload.

I have looked into making accounts on scormcloud and github. I will not be able to publish directly on Blackboard, which is what my program uses.

Of the two I think you'd be better off with SCORM Cloud because you can invite people via their email address.  But you can only invite a small number of people with the free account at SCORM Cloud.
