course built in 7 opened and saved in 9

Hi

I have picked up 3 courses that were originally built in Cap 7 and I have opened and saved them in captivate 9. Some of the interactions the builder had created do not work in cap 9.

Is there any way I can open the source files in cap 7 after saving them in 9 ? please help.....

That was indeed also my advice in my last answer, since you seem not to have checked the value obtained for that user variable.

Yes. Update the Learning Interactions. If Captivate does not offer you the option, then you'll need to delete those previous version Interactions and replace them with ones that came with Captivate 9.

It's one of the downsides of using Learning Interactions that they sometimes will not work with later versions of Captivate. But they're constantly being updated...even within the same version of Captivate.

I have reset all the slide interactions however there are some buttons that are not working - eg when I click on button no 6 it takes me to the next slide. I have set up the advanced action as below on button 6 which is consistent with other modules but it doesn't show the information and jumps to the next page ....any idea why this might be happening.

yes the other buttons work they have the same variables except different frame postion number, it just seems to be that button and its the same on other slides. It works in Captivate 7 but doesn't work in Captivate 9 on this particular button
