Current slide showing previous slide in background

I am creating an Adobe Captivate training project and one of my slides is showing shapes and objects from previous slides and it won't disappear. I've played with the timing and the background settings, but nothing is working. Does anyone have any tips for me?

Did you check the Timing properties of those objects? They may have been set to 'Rest of Project'.

Other possibility: they are on the used master slide.
