Custom success and failure messages on quiz results slide

I'm trying to create a custom success and failure message on the quiz results slide, using certain colours in the text caption to reflect our company's brand. So I've added an advanced action on entering the slide so that if the quiz percentage is 80% or more, the success message shows, and the failure message hides. It seems that this should work, but for some reason, only the failure message displays, regardless of whether I fail or pass. Has anyone else tried this with any success?

Thanks for your help!

    Hi again,

Just had another quick question I was hoping you could help me with, based on your knowledge and experience with Captivate. Do you know if it's okay to move the 'Continue' button off the slide on the test results slide, so that it's not viewed in the compiled test? I thought this button had to be clicked so that the scoring results were transferred to the LMS. But I just closed the browser window after completing the test and seeing my score, and the results were still transferred successfully. So now I'm wondering, what's the purpose of the 'Continue' button?

Thank you for any help you can provide!

That button is very important: clicking on it will launch the actions that you define in Quiz Preferences, Success/Failure. Think it is also mentioned in my blog post when I talk about the score slide. Maybe you were lucky, but I mostly advice to add a short End slide after that score slide, to be sure everything is transferred correctly, especially when launched by LMS and lot of users will do the test at the same time (I used it in a college for some exams). In that case you can set the Success/Failure actions on Question level to 'Go to Next Slide'.

This thread is still marked Unanswered, so I suppose it is not totally solved?

    Hi,

Can you please provide me the screen shot of the Advance action you have applied on the Quiz result slide?
