Disable Click Sound not Working on Rollover Button in Captivate 9

I am using the Mac version of Captivate 9. I created a rollover button with two states - Normal and Rollover (I used a Smart Shape for the button and selected Use as Button). I selected the Disable Click Sound checkbox in the Actions panel. However, when I publish, and click the button, I still hear the click sound.

To troubleshoot, I created a Smart Shape button with only one state (no rollover), tested it, and I didn't hear a click sound. So the issue seems related to the rollover state.

I searched the forums and couldn't find an answer to my issue.

Any suggestions to fix?

A shape button in Captivate 9 always has three InBuilt states: Normal, Rollover and Down. Did you delete two states in the State view?

Thanks! That solved it. I had deleted the Down state because I thought the Normal and Rollover states would be sufficient to show the change of the button state.

However, once I added the Down state, it worked properly (didn't hear the click sound anymore).

So in summary, you must have all three states for a rollover button for the Disable Click Sounds to work properly.

I didn't understand why you deleted InBuilt states... Checked and that is indeed possible.
