Drag and Drop Wizard issue: 'Select at least 1 item to proceed,' even though items are selected

Hello, I'm new to Captivate 9 and I'm trying to create a simple drag and drop interaction on a slide. When I go into the drag and drop wizard, I select the items I would like to drag and drop (they are simply shapes and text captions grouped together) and I hit the next button to continue, but I get a pop up that states "Select at least 1 item to proceed!" even though I have just selected the three items.

I can't figure out how to get past this or resolve this issue, help please?!

I never use that (xxxx) wizard, but the D&D panel itself, much better control. You cannot select a group, are you aware of that?

It must have been because the objects I was trying to select were multiple objects grouped together. I think I have it working now, thank you!

That is what I wrote: you cannot select a group, you have to select each object separately which is possible even when they are grouped but a lot more cumbersome.
