Re: Captivate 2019
I know there are a ton of questions out there surrounding the need to create a certificate of course completion at the end of a course. Adobe is far too limited along these lines for my taste. We issue certs through our LMS, but I have a large reseller that needs a certificate at the end of the course. So I have to somehow find a way to get certain components on a certificate.
First, is it possible to create a Portrait cert instead of a landscape version? That used to be doable in older Captivate versions, but it seems it is now limited.
Second question: is it possible to change out the background image of the certificate? And is it also possible to edit the text that currently shows? I can get past the need for the portart cert if I can somehow change the background and text of the interactive certificate Adobe offers.
All in all, it is very frustrating to not be able to have more flexibility when it comes to issuing certificates through Captivate. But perhaps I am missing something, so if anyone knows of a better way to issue a cert with custom images and/or text, that would be great. Being able to change the font type and color of font tells me we must be able to somehow change the text and image.
Thanks,
Arthur

Arthur, create a slide which looks exactly the way you want.
Use the appropriate system and user variables to fill in the fields. Those used in the Learning interaction are:
You can add a signature (as an image) and whatever you want.
If you really need a portrait mode, I would consider an included pdf, but will need some programming to transfer the values of the variables.
